Boeing delays in delivering new aircraft are causing frustration at the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) annual meeting where carriers celebrate record passenger figures and $1 trillion in revenues. Boeing, along with Airbus, is one of the two major aircraft suppliers facing scrutiny over safety and manufacturing standards. IATA Director General Willie Walsh states that delivery delays are "suppressing growth at the moment, without question."
