Following a door plug panel incident on an Alaska Airlines jet, Boeing and Spirit are working to rebuild trust with regulators and the public. Boeing presented a plan to the FAA to improve manufacturing quality in its own factories and those of its suppliers. During a tour of Spirit's factory, workers expressed shock and sadness over the incident.
