Asda, FareShare, and Olio partner to expand food donation schemes. Asda's 209 stores will collect surplus food, past its best-before date but still edible, for redistribution through FareShare's local food charities and Olio's donation slots. The partnership aims to double the amount of surplus food re-distributed and will connect Olio's 'food waste heroes' with local Asda stores to share the food with communities free of charge.
