Amazon Prime Video is adapting the popular video game franchise 'Yakuza' into a live-action series titled 'Like a Dragon: Yakuza'. The six-part crime-suspense-action series, set in two time periods (1995 and 2005), follows the life, childhood friends, and decisions of a fearsome Yakuza warrior named Kazuma Kiryu. The series will be directed by Masaharu Take and Kengo Takimoto, and star Ryoma Takeuchi, known for his role in the 'Kamen Rider' series. The live-action adaptation will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 25, 2024.
