Elliot Lake police have arrested a woman accused of threatening to burn down an apartment building. Paulina Mews, 46, was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and uttering threats to damage property after allegedly threatening physical harm and property destruction on May 26. An arrest warrant had been issued following the incident, and Mews was apprehended on June 1.
