39-year-old Michael Clarkson, an inmate in Greenville County, died on Saturday after being found in critical condition in his cell on Friday. Clarkson was accused of killing 40-year-old Colleen D'Ortona in Travelers Rest. The Greenville County Coroner's Office and State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) are investigating the incident, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
