22-year-old Maplewood man caused a fatal crash on southbound I-694 in Oakdale, MN, by stopping his mini-SUV in the middle of the busy freeway. The incident resulted in the driver's death and non-life-threatening injuries to his passenger. The driver of the large SUV that crashed into the stopped vehicle, 52-year-old Jack Okumu of St. Paul, was uninjured but has a history of DUI offenses and alcohol was involved in the incident.
