24-year-old Launceston man charged with aggravated assault and firearms offences for pointing a firearm at a public member and kicking their dog.

24-year-old Launceston man charged with aggravated assault and firearms offences after pointing a firearm at a member of the public and kicking their dog in a verbal altercation at a St Leonards car park on April 27. The suspect fled the scene in a burnt-out blue Holden Commodore and is now in custody on unrelated matters, due to appear in Launceston Magistrates Court on June 13. Police urge witnesses or those who saw the vehicle to contact authorities.
