38-year-old Justin Rosenow, with 37 prior convictions for unlicensed driving, claims he was going to pick up a puppy in Maryborough after being caught driving unlicensed and testing positive for cannabis and methamphetamine. He was stopped on Ballarat-Maryborough Road and later on Smythes Road in Delacombe, where he had no connection to the house he parked outside. Rosenow pleaded guilty to multiple charges in Ballarat Magistrates' Court on May 28, 2024.
