6-year-old Hong Kong horse Romantic Warrior secured his 8th Group 1 victory at Japan's Yasuda Kinen, making it his first win in Japan and fifth consecutive top-level victory across three jurisdictions. Trainer Danny Shum and jockey James McDonald contributed to the win which marks the first time a Hong Kong horse has won the prestigious race. This win grants Romantic Warrior guaranteed entry to the Breeders' Cup Mile and two top French mile races.
