29-year-old Deveca Rose, from Wallington, Sutton, has pleaded not guilty to four counts of manslaughter after her four children, aged 3-4, died in a house fire in Collingwood Road, Sutton, on December 16, 2021. The trial, originally set for August 29, has been delayed and is now scheduled to begin on September 9 at the Old Bailey. Rose was also charged with cruelty to a child under the age of 16.
