The latest Regional Movers Index by the Regional Australia Institute (RAI) reveals that Victoria's Moorabool and Geelong are among the top five most popular regional areas in Australia, attracting significant migration. Both areas consistently rank in the top five over the past 18 months, with net flows 24% higher from capitals to the regions than the other way round, revealing a notable trend in population movement.
