Transport Canada has recalled certain Vicinity buses due to fuel system-related defects that could cause natural gas leaks, risking fires or explosions. BC Transit has temporarily removed affected Victoria fleet buses and expects replacement parts to arrive soon. Once the parts are fixed, buses will return to service. This recall affects 39 buses, about 11% of the Victoria Regional Transit System's fleet.
