India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) charged 17 ISIS operatives for involvement in a conspiracy to radicalize youth and manufacture improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The accused, originally charged in March, were from Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and Haryana. This case brings the total number of accused charged to 20, with global connections and foreign handlers exposed. The operatives were charged under the Indian Penal Code, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act, and Explosive Substances Act.
