Recurrent Energy secures $500m investment from BlackRock for solar and energy storage projects.
Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, has announced the initial closing of a $500m investment from BlackRock's Climate Infrastructure business. The investment, once fully completed, will represent 20% of Recurrent Energy's outstanding fully diluted shares, with Canadian Solar retaining majority ownership. The funding will support Recurrent Energy's development of high-value solar and energy storage projects.
