Premier Chris Minns hasn't ruled out adding an extra station on the $25bn Metro West rail line in Silverwater or Newington, as giant tunnel boring machines approach Sydney suburbs heading for Olympic Park. The proposal to turn Rosehill Racecourse into a "mini-city" with 25,000 homes and a station on the Metro West line between Parramatta and the CBD is facing opposition from some Australian Turf Club members.
