Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann were excluded from France's preliminary 25-man squad for the Olympics, despite their participation in Euro 2024. Paris Saint-Germain duo Warren Zaire-Emery and Bradley Barcola, and Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette have been named in the provisional list. French Olympic football team coach Thierry Henry acknowledged that the list could change before the final deadline on July 3. France's Olympic football competition starts on July 24.
