20 killed, 5 survivors in eastern Afghanistan river ferry sinking; cause unknown.

20 people, including women and children, were killed when a river ferry sank in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday morning. The boat was carrying 25 people across a river in Mohmand Dara district when it sank, according to a Taliban official. Five survivors were reported, but the cause of the accident remains unknown. A medical team and ambulances were sent to the area to assist in the recovery efforts.
