4 Italian youths, aged 16-24, were arrested for their involvement in an organised crime group responsible for 'snatch and grab' jewellery thefts. Police apprehended them at entertainment venues in Żebbuġ and St Julian's, where they were snatching necklaces from unsuspecting victims. The older two pleaded guilty and received 9 and 12-month jail sentences, while the teenagers were remanded in custody after pleading not guilty.
