Indonesia and Australia aim to improve their strained relationship through a green investment deal, as the world's fastest-growing economy, Indonesia, shifts to renewables. A climate partnership named KINETIK formalized in March will help Indonesia secure lithium for EV batteries and open export markets for Australia's critical minerals. Both nations may also gain access to the batteries' supply chain.
