Ericsson's 4-year anti-corruption compliance monitoring program with the US DoJ ended on June 2.
Ericsson announced on June 3 that its four-year anti-corruption compliance monitoring program with the US Department of Justice has ended on June 2. The independent monitor's role was to assess Ericsson's global anti-corruption compliance program and internal controls, following a 2019 settlement with the DoJ over alleged corruption in China, Vietnam, and Djibouti. Ericsson had agreed to pay a criminal penalty and engage with an independent compliance monitor as part of the 2019 settlement.
