Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi has reappointed Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly to form a new government, following Madbouly's cabinet's resignation in line with customary practice at the start of a new presidential mandate. Madbouly was first appointed Prime Minister in June 2018 and has previously served as housing minister.
