AMD revealed an updated roadmap for its Instinct accelerator family during Computex 2024, bringing an annual cadence of leadership AI performance and memory capabilities. The new AMD Instinct MI325X accelerator, planned for Q4 2024, will feature up to 288GB of HBM3E memory, and the AMD Instinct MI350 series, based on AMD's CDNA 4 architecture, is expected to be available in 2025 with a 35x generational increase in AI inference performance.
