The combined turnover reached 830.7 billion yuan, up from 715 billion yuan previously. Memory chip and pork sectors led gains, while car dismantling and minor metals suffered losses. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style growth enterprises board, gained 0.79% to close at 1,819.46 points.
