Chinese airline Air China has launched a new daily direct flight route between Beijing Capital Airport and London Gatwick Airport, increasing flight frequency to the UK. The CA851/2 route aims to boost trade and tourism exchanges between China and the UK. The first flight carried around 250 passengers, many of whom were making their first trip to China since the pandemic for family visits, vacations, and business purposes.
