Bangladesh's government resumes regular 9am-5pm office hours after Eid-ul-Azha holidays, as announced by PM Sheikh Hasina.

Bangladesh's government announced a return to regular working hours for public offices from 9am to 5pm after Eid-ul-Azha holidays, effective from a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Offices had previously operated from 9am to 4pm to save energy and power since November 15th. The new schedule will include a break for prayers and lunch from 1pm to 1:30pm.
