Ambulance involved in fatal crash on southbound I-5 near West Seattle Bridge, causing multiple vehicle collisions; suspected impaired driver arrested for vehicular homicide.

A fatal crash involving an ambulance shut down southbound I-5 at the West Seattle Bridge after a vehicle became disabled and a motorhome struck the individual who got out. An AMR ambulance stopped to help and was subsequently hit by another vehicle, pushing it into the disabled vehicle. The driver of the second crash was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide and suspected impairment. All southbound lanes remained closed at the West Seattle Bridge, causing a 1.5-mile backup to the I-90 interchange.
