The Houston Astros recalled right-hander Shawn Dubin, 28, from Triple-A Sugar Land, while sending Alex Speas to the same level. Dubin returns with a 6.59 ERA in nine relief appearances this season and a 6.75 ERA in 12 career appearances over two seasons. Speas, 26, allowed one run in two innings in his only Astros appearance and has a 0-2 record with a 9.00 ERA in four career appearances.
