42-year-old Ratan, a tenant in south Delhi's Chattarpur, was found dead in a highly decomposed state in his locked room. Police received a call about Ratan not answering phone calls and a foul smell coming from his room. Ratan had been living alone for over a year and worked for an MNC. The crime team was called to the scene and the body was sent to AIIMS Mortuary. Ratan reportedly had some heart issues.
