A man in his 30s was shot in a targeted attack in Kirkby, Merseyside, and suffered a leg injury. The victim self-presented at a hospital for treatment and is currently in serious but stable condition. Police believe a group of males in black clothing, riding bikes, were involved in the attack and fled the scene towards Mintor Road and Simonswood Lane. The investigation is ongoing, with extensive CCTV and witness enquiries being conducted.
