34-year-old concealed carry holder thwarts carjacking attempt in Irving Park, Chicago; suspects flee after CCL holder opens fire.

A Chicago concealed carry holder successfully thwarted a carjacking attempt in Irving Park by opening fire on three armed suspects. The incident occurred at around 3:30 am on Spaulding Avenue, when the 34-year-old CCL holder was confronted by the suspects demanding his vehicle. The suspects fled after the CCL holder began firing his own weapon, and no injuries were reported. The police are currently investigating the incident.
