30-year-old Cody Marmet from Tiffin died after being hit by a train at the Brown Street/Iowa Interstate Railroad crossing in Johnson County on Saturday morning. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where they found Marmet in critical condition. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the incident.
