6-year-old boy hospitalized after being hit by a car in Middletown on Saturday. The crash occurred at 6 p.m., on Hendrickson Road east of Audubon Road, involving a single vehicle and the pedestrian. The boy was seriously injured and taken to Dayton Children's Hospital. The driver, 30-year-old Danielle Briggs, and an infant in the car were not injured. The road was shut down for several hours during the investigation.
