The Newcastle Jets have signed 22-year-old attacker Eli Adams from Melbourne Victory for a two-year deal, aiming to fill the gap left by Archie Goodwin. Adams has made 15 appearances for Victory, scoring a notable goal against Perth in round 11, and has recently played in the VPL1, scoring six goals in nine appearances. He had previously spent two seasons with the Brisbane Roar.
