70-year-old Arvada K-8 School in Colorado closed permanently due to declining enrollment, impacting 500 students and 100 staff. Jefferson County School District attributed the closure to reduced demand in the area. New neighborhood schools for grades K-5 and 6-8 will be Lawrence Elementary and North Arvada Middle School, respectively, starting from the 2024-25 school year.
