24-year-old Alex Williams has been charged with first-degree murder after his girlfriend died from injuries sustained in a machete attack in Wall Township, New Jersey. The attack happened on May 23 at their Glen Oaks apartment complex home. Williams was initially charged with attempted murder after the woman was hospitalized in critical condition; however, she succumbed to her injuries a week later.
