Wollongong artist Nick Santoro's painting inspired by an offensive Italian graffiti on his Fairy Meadow neighbor's house has become a Sulman Prize finalist at the Art Gallery of NSW. The artwork, titled "Property boundary quarrel (neighbours)", features the crude message spray-painted on the house next door to Santoro's dying grandfather. The painting immortalizes the muddled words and adds another layer to the strange story of the odd neighbor.
