3 people, including a 9-year-old, died & 7 injured in a 3-vehicle crash in Quezon province, southeast of Manila, Philippines. The accident occurred when a van tried to overtake a vehicle, sideswiping another southbound car & colliding with a northbound passenger bus. The other vehicles involved did not report any casualties. A preliminary investigation is underway.
