The US Department of Defense (DoD) mistakenly combined Pride Month and PTSD Awareness Month in a social media post, which led to confusion and embarrassment. The post, published in June, acknowledged both months and included a graphic for Pride Month 2024. The error was quickly noticed and mocked by social media users, resulting in the post being deleted and replaced with a correct PTSD Awareness Month graphic.
