University of Toronto holds graduation ceremonies amidst pro-Palestinian protest encampment.

The University of Toronto is holding graduation ceremonies despite an ongoing pro-Palestinian protest encampment on campus. The encampment, present since May 2, has been issued a trespass notice and faces legal action. The university has taken extra safety precautions, including requiring identification for gown collection and restricting bags and personal items, amid concerns of harassment and potential violent altercations. Over 30 graduation ceremonies are scheduled from June 14 to 21, with the earliest court hearing to address the encampment set for June 19 and 20.
