In a 10-5 win, Diamondbacks' reliever Kevin Ginkel suffered a bruised knee after being hit by a 98.3 mph comebacker off the bat of Mets' Brandon Nimmo in the 6th inning. Ginkel was able to walk off the field after being attended to by an athletic trainer. This comes after Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen was placed on the 15-day injured list due to a strained right hamstring.
