2 people rescued from burning building in Westborough; fire under control, no injuries, cause under investigation.

Two people were rescued from a burning building in Westborough after a fire broke out at 22-26 South St. early Sunday. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames at the rear of the building and rescued the trapped residents using ground ladders. The fire was brought under control by 2:40 a.m., with no reported injuries. The structure suffered about $1m in damages, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
