India received the highest FDI from Singapore in 2023-24, despite a global economic downturn reducing overall foreign investments by 3.5%. Despite a 31.55% drop in FDI from Singapore to $11.77bn, India secured the most investments from this country. Singapore has been India's largest FDI source since 2018-19, surpassing Mauritius, which was the top investor in 2017-18.
