Eagle Lake First Nation fatality under investigation by Police and Treaty Three Police Service.
Police and Treaty Three Police Service are investigating a fatality on Eagle Lake First Nation. A body was found in the community at 12:30pm on Friday. A post-mortem exam will confirm identity and cause of death, but investigators don't see an immediate public safety threat. The OPP North West Region Crime Unit, RST, and Forensic Identification Services continue the investigation, aided by the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
