D.C. United drew 2-2 with Toronto FC after Mateusz Klich scored a penalty kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time, following red cards for Toronto's Federico Bernardeschi and Nicksoen Gomis. Toronto's Derrick Etienne Jr. initially scored in the second minute, followed by a goal from Bernardeschi in the 33rd. D.C. United's Theodore Ku-Dipietro scored in the 79th minute before Klich's equalizer.
