In honour of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, never-before-seen colourised photos of British Red Cross volunteers assisting injured soldiers and aiding sick troops during WWII have been released. The images, originally black and white, have been brought to life with vibrant colour, revealing the incredible work done by British Red Cross volunteers under challenging conditions in Normandy and the UK.
