64-year-old Murisi Zwizwai, a senior official in Zimbabwe's Citizens' Coalition for Change (CCC) and founding member of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), has passed away due to high blood pressure complications. Zwizwai, a former deputy minister, was first elected as Harare Central's National Assembly member in 2003 and re-elected in 2022. At the time of his death, he was nominated for the Zimbabwean Senate.
