16-year-old boy dies after being hit by a car on Ash Grove, Lichfield. The incident occurred at 6.30pm on May 31st. The teenager was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Nissan Qashqai involved in the collision remained at the scene and is assisting the police with their inquiries. A small cordon remains in place as the investigation continues.
