De Niro welcomed Gia with girlfriend Tiffany Chen in April 2023, becoming a father for the seventh time. Speaking about the celebration, De Niro shared with Entertainment Tonight that Gia had a "little cake, it was very nice, sweet," and described his youngest child as "pure joy."
