Woman killed by METRO bus in downtown Houston intersection on Friday morning.
A woman was killed by a METRO bus in downtown Houston on Friday morning at the intersection of Rusk and Smith Streets. The incident occurred when the bus, operated by a contractor, turned left on a green light while the woman was in the crosswalk. This is the first fatal crash involving a pedestrian in downtown Houston since January 29th. Houston Police are investigating.
